should we know when the great tribulation starts and when christ returns

The bible shows God has always warned His people when disaster is about to happen. Surely the Lord does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7). He had Noah warn the people for 120 years that disaster was about to happen. Jonah was sent to Ninevah. Abraham was told of Sodom and Gemorrah and the angels got Lot and his family out. John the Baptist was sent 6 months before Jesus. Many of the books of the prophets in the Old Testament were about the message of warning of impending judgement unless you repent. They did not so both the northern and southern kingdoms were exiled at different times. It would make sense that a loving and compassionate God who desires all to be saved would give some type of warning that the rapture is about to happen, that the great tribulation is about to start, and that Jesus is about to return. Yes Jesus does say that no one knows the day or hour, but that refers to the feast He will return on, the Feast of Trumpets. He also says He is returning to His Father's house and does not know when He will return which is exactly what a jewish groom would tell his bride as he goes back to build their wedding chamber. Jesus also tells His disciple that it is not for them to know but He very well could be telling that to just them. Paul says is 1 Thess 5 that you know full well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night but that we are not of the night but the day and will not overtake us as a thief. Also the 3 wise men knew when Jesus was coming the first time so why would we not know when Jesus is coming the second time.

  1. Hello
I believe that the Lord is coming very soon.
I believe that the generation Jesus spoke about in Mat 24 started in 1948.
I believe that the Length of the Generation is 70 years.
    In believe in pre-trib rapture.
Base on the above we don't have much time left.

Jesus is coming soon for His people.

Have a great day in Jesus name.
